Major roads leading into Tabor City are US 701, NC 410 and NC 904. It is 18 miles south of Whiteville, the county seat, and only 30 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. The southern city limits join the South Carolina Border. approx. 22 miles from North Myrtle Beach.
